10 Smith Bio Bits
1. If you ask me how I am, I’ll ask you to be specific. Saying “fine” is not an answer.
2. I’ve never met anyone famous, but I know some fabulous people doing interesting
things who are funny, quirky, smart and caring.
3. I’ve been told I’m a good listener, but please wake me if I nod off after half an hour.
4. I relish hearing about people’s experiences, interests and beliefs.
5. I’m a recovering alcoholic – 30+ years sober.
6. My interests: Improv comedy, pencil art and torn paper collage, photography, tiny houses, walkable cities, jazz, imaginative writing.
7. Food likes: I’ll try about anything, but I want dark chocolate and strong coffee. Don’t feed me: Chipped beef gravy, cooked cauliflower, onions.
8. Favorite authors: Garth Stein, Michael Connelly, Henry Petroski, Amanda Gorman, Elizabeth Kolbert, Adam Grant.
